What the Triangle Calculator Can Find (Calculate)

The calculator can determine and display the following three key properties of any valid triangle defined by its three side lengths (a,b,c):

1. Triangle Type:

   • It determines if the triangle is Equilateral (all sides equal), Isosceles (two sides equal), or Scalene (all sides different).

   • It also checks the Triangle Inequality Theorem and reports if the input sides cannot form a valid triangle.

2. Area:

   • It calculates the Area of the triangle using Heron’s formula, which relies on the semi-perimeter (s).

3. Perimeter:

   • It calculates the Perimeter (the total length around the shape) by simply summing the three sides ($a+b+c$).

How Triangle Calculator Works

The calculator uses a well-known triangle area formula called Heron’s Formula.

The process is:
